iThrive initiative is a pioneering community interest company (CIC) dedicated to uplifting, inspiring, and empowering young people.
Its objective is to help them better understand what they want life to look like and provide them with the essential skills and knowledge, that fosters motivation and confidence to help them fulfil their aspirations.
They say that evidence drives change, well, young people have the highest rate of unemployment out of all the age groups, and it is getting worse. In fact unemployment in young people is a staggering 244% higher than that of the wider population.
1 in 8 young people in the UK are Not in Education, Employment or Training, a phrase known as NEET, which is ironic given that this statistic highlights what a mess the current system is in. Research tells us that the UK economy would be £69 billion better off if our NEET statistic was the equivalent of the Dutch model, which is 1 in 20. With almost one million young people unemployed and billions of pounds spent every year on unemployment benefits, it is clear that we…
need change.
Project iThrive is different to all other employment support programmes. Different in its methodology, different in its business model, different in its delivery, and most importantly different in its thinking. It aims to harmonise career perceptions and life aspirations so that young people can make better, more purposeful decisions based on a new understanding of their bigger picture. Project iThrive strategically deploys a blend of implicit and explicit conditional incentives that retains engagement and ensures all messages throughout the project have a greater impact.

Don’t live without the first and don’t die with the second”
