What is iThrive Initiative?

It is a community interest company. That means it was created purely to serve the community in which it is based, and that any profits deriving from its activities go back either to the company or directly to the community.

Why was it created?

It was created because its two founding members have the ability, the experience and the know how to improve the lives of others, and more importantly they care about the communities in which they live in and want to make a genuine difference.

What is iThrive’s mission?

Its mission is to end youth unemployment. Easier said than done you might think, but if the right people, with the the right tools, speak to the right people, then mission accomplished. Initially this will be a firefight because there are already almost one million unemployed young people in the UK, but further down the line the olde prevention is better than a cure saying will become prevalent and iThrive will move into shaping the curriculum so that millions of young people leave schools with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive at life.

Who are the co-founders?

Tristan Fontagio - CEO

Tristan is an experienced and innovative problem solver and is the driving force behind the iThrive initiative. He specialises in relationship management and has performed ambassadorial roles for large national charities, generating millions of pounds in revenue whilst building extensive and effective partner networks.

He has written 8 books, produced 28 albums and exhibited his visual abstract art in galleries across Europe over the course of a career that spans more than 30 years. He teaches music privately and has lectured electronic music, drums and composition at Universities.

What does Tristan say about Nigel?

“Nigel has a wonderful way with people; his calm demeanor allows people to express themselves in a way which is comfortable for them, and that is very powerful. For a man with so much talent, ability and achievement, he is extremely humble.”

What does Nigel say about Tristan?

“Tristan is highly motivated, highly confident and passionate with a strong desire to succeed in his vision for iThrive. He has great people skills and a glowing personality, which make him very approachable and empathetic.”

What do they have in common?

Laughter, drumming (yes Nigel teaches Tristan), writing books, electronic music, ADHD, Monty Python, Alan Partridge, helping others, football, justice, and following their moral compass to name but a few.
